What we built

• Collector store of 101 catalog works with variants, availability and a custom cart — no Big Cartel look-alike, no embedded storefront.
• Stripe Checkout with shipping options and owner order e-mail; a sales log and catalog tools in a private admin.
• Archive of 381 product and artwork images, regenerated at web quality from the original masters and stored on the estate’s own site, so the shop no longer depends on a third party.
• A 113-stop illustrated life timeline plus a biography, with downloadable Word editions.
• Poster Child book section, press and media pages, legacy and obituary pages, and a research area.
• Rights, authenticity and shipping/returns pages written for collectors and licensing requests.
• Theme studio so the estate can adjust the look without breaking the design; daily database backup, sitemap and search-ready markup.

What we built

What we built

• Home page, work-by-type landing pages, discipline pages and individual project pages generated from one catalog.
• Nine disciplines, including logos and branding, music, menus and restaurant, ads, large-format display, books, brochures, holiday cards and invitations.
• Brand-matched design in the cyan, royal and navy palette of her logo.
• About and contact pages with a project-inquiry form.
• Fast, hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript; no page builder.

What we built

• Private, invitation-only reader site: individual sign-ins, a table of contents, progress tracking and a “mark my place” bookmark that syncs between phone and desktop.
• Designed reading experience: chapter art, detailed city maps, cast and glossary pages, author’s note and a Book Two teaser.
• Admin for the author: reader contacts, e-mail-all, and each reader’s last-read and marked spot.
• Cover system and book design in partnership with graphic artist Amy Dakos.
• Editor’s manuscript editions in Word and PDF, rebuilt from the same source after every revision.
• Every link on the reader site audited in WebKit and Chromium on phone and desktop (656 checks, all passing).

• Producer and editor: recording, editing, episode packaging and release.
• Brand naming, vision and mission, and sample taglines developed with the hosts.

What we built

• Multi-page concept: home, the estate, the weekend experience, events, gallery and an inquiry page.
• Curated on-property photography in place of the template leftovers on the current site.
• A presentation page that explains the design rationale to the owners.
• Written proposal, plus a separate network plan, build guide and labor schedule for property-wide Wi-Fi.
• Inquiry flow and admin planned for launch once the owners confirm final capacity, packages and phone details.

What we built

• Galleries for People, Places (USA, India and Viet Nam), Things and Student Images, matching her current site.
• Image pipeline that keeps the untouched original and generates large, medium and small web copies.
• Admin to upload photos, manage categories and reorder galleries, plus a messages inbox.
• Post by e-mail: send photos with the gallery name as the subject and they appear within minutes.
• Built on PHP 8 with a database kept outside the web root; tested on phone and desktop in WebKit and Chromium.

What we built

• Batch conversion with ICC color management between sRGB and CMYK.
• Presets for resolution and output format.
• Native Mac application built in Python and PyQt6, packaged with PyInstaller.
• Automatic versioning on every release (currently 1.2.7).

What we built

• Automatic pipeline: Ancestry → RootsMagic → GEDCOM with media → the site, running in the background whenever the tree changes.
• Custom heritage theme in walnut and brass, with interactive pedigree, fan and descendant charts.
• Sources and citations, a media gallery, a place hierarchy with maps and a calendar.
• Per-person privacy for living relatives and multi-user family accounts; raw DNA data is never published.

What we built

• Two-page spreads with serif and script typography matched to a reference book design.
• Click-to-edit text directly on the page preview.
• Table of contents generated automatically from categories and poems.
• Images alternate left and right within each category.
• Editors for poems, categories, metadata and front matter.
